Server Administrator (m/w/d)

We are looking for you as an administrator who keeps our campus infrastructure under control and ensures that the digital motor always runs.

This means: servers, networks, clients, security – the entire ecosystem of our Tobit.Town here in Ahaus. You are not just a troubleshooter, but an architect. You think ahead, optimize proactively, and ensure that we can scale tomorrow as well. Because at our company, it's not just about 'making computers run', but about creating an environment where over 100 colleagues can work productively every day, experiment, and grow.

Tasks

• Administration, configuration, and maintenance of the internal server landscape (Windows/Linux) as well as the network infrastructure on campus.
• Ensuring the smooth operation of our own products (david Server & chayns Backend connections) in the internal network.
• Maintenance of virtualization environments and storage systems.
• Monitoring system health, performing updates, and managing backup routines.
• Analyzing and resolving issues in 2nd- and 3rd-level support for our internal teams.
• Implementing IT security measures (firewalling, VPN, access management).
• Planning and implementing infrastructure projects to optimize the campus network.

Qualification

• SUCCESSFUL completion of an IT-related training program (e.g. Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or equivalent qualification.
• Fundamental professional experience in administering networks and servers.
• In-depth understanding of Microsoft environments and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN).
• Experience with TeamDavid™ from Tobit (administration/equipment)
• Understanding of the functioning of chayns and web-based services.
• Knowledge of IT security.
• Structured working style and quick comprehension when dealing with technical issues.
