For our long-standing client, Roche Diagnostics International AG in Rotkreuz, we are looking for a Sensor Development Engineer Background: The team, «BGE Sensors & Reagents,» is focused on the development, characterization, and optimization of various electrochemical and optical sensors for medical devices in the field of IVD diagnostics. We focus on the measurement of biomarkers, such as glucose, lactate, or other analytes, using electrochemical or optical detection methods. The team's goal is to develop innovative sensor solutions that meet the needs of our customers and contribute to the development of new diagnostic tests. As a Sensor Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and optimizing sensors for various applications in the field of IVD diagnostics. This includes the development of new sensor concepts, the optimization of existing sensors, and the integration of sensors into medical devices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that your designs meet the requirements of our customers and regulatory agencies. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrochemistry, optics, or a related field, as well as experience in sensor development and characterization. Additionally, you should be familiar with relevant regulations and standards for medical devices, such as ISO 13485 and FDA guidelines.
