Description ElectroNet Consulting’s Power System Analysis (PSA) team is continuing to grow, and we’re looking for an experienced Senior or Principal PSA Engineer to play a key leadership role in shaping and delivering complex power system studies across New Zealand and Australia. Why is this an exciting role? In this senior role, you will take the lead on high-impact projects for generation and grid-connected customers across New Zealand and Australia. You will be responsible for scoping and qualifying project opportunities, developing project plans, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results. As a key member of our PSA team, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their requirements. Your expertise in power system analysis will enable us to deliver innovative and effective solutions that drive business outcomes for our customers. What are the key responsibilities of this role? • Lead complex power system studies across New Zealand and Australia, working closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions. • Develop project plans, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality results. • Collaborate with other PSA team members to identify and prioritize project opportunities, and develop strategies for delivering projects that meet client needs. • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, and contribute to the development of best practices within the PSA team. What are the key requirements for this role? • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field. • At least 5 years of experience in power system analysis, with a strong background in electrical engineering principles and power systems analysis. • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results on complex projects, with excellent communication and leadership skills. • Strong understanding of power system analysis software tools and technologies, including PSCAD, ETAP, and PSSE. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
