Senior Workspace Engineer

A global freight forwarder and logistics company that handles various aspects of supply chain management for businesses is seeking a Workspace Engineer who will design, implement, and support modern endpoint management solutions with a primary focus on Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and the migration from SCCM to Intune . Responsibilities Endpoint Migration & Management Lead the technical migration of endpoint management from SCCM to Microsoft Intune. Set up and test Intune enrollment methods, device compliance policies, configuration profiles, and application deployments. Develop and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for endpoint management processes. Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to endpoint management, including performance, security, and compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless endpoint management integration and support. Windows Autopilot and Device Management Design, implement, and maintain Windows Autopilot configurations for new device deployments. Manage and maintain device profiles, configurations, and policies within Microsoft Intune and Azure Active Directory. Implement and manage conditional access policies to secure endpoint access to company resources. Automate endpoint management tasks, such as software updates, patch management, and security configurations. Windows OS and Application Management Develop and maintain Windows OS deployment and management strategies, including image creation and customization. Manage and maintain application deployment and update processes, ensuring timely delivery and compatibility. Troubleshoot and resolve complex endpoint-related issues, collaborating with other IT teams as needed. Stay up-to-date with the latest endpoint management technologies, trends, and best practices. Endpoint Security Implement and manage endpoint security solutions, including antivirus, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and data loss prevention (DLP). Configure and maintain security baselines and policies to protect endpoints from threats. Monitor and analyze security events and alerts, responding to incidents as necessary. Participate in security audits and assessments, ensuring compliance with security policies and standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in endpoint management, with a strong focus on Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and SCCM. Experience with Windows OS deployment and management, including image creation, customization, and deployment. Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services and Azure Active Directory. Experience with scripting and automation tools, such as PowerShell. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator (MD-100/MD-101) preferred. Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package.
