Senior Workflow-Automation & Full-Stack Engineer (n8n / Low-Code / DevOps)

This is not a classical ML or Data Science role. You train no models, but:

• automate business processes with n8n and KI-APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic etc.)
• build lean Full-Stack-Services (e.g. Next.js + Postgres or FastAPI + SQLite) with modern AI-layers like the Vercel AI SDK and agentive workflows (e.g. Mastra)
• think "Customer First" and deliver practical solutions in days, not months, by prioritizing and driving topics independently

About Lucid Labs

Aufgaben

≈ 60 % Automation:

• Model business processes in n8n, configure flows, test, deploy and monitor
• Set up RAG-Systems (Retrieval Augmented Generation) and agentive workflows (e.g. with Mastra or comparable orchestration layers)
• Develop performance-evals for KI-workflows, monitor and continuously improve – including prompt- and output-evaluation (e.g. LLM-Streaming, Tool-Calls, Agents, Promptfoo)
• Improve guardrails, error-handling, alerting and monitoring

≈ 40 % Full-Stack-Entwicklung:

• Develop small services, dashboards or bots with Next.js (React) – including state-, data- and real-time logic over modern backends (e.g. Convex, Supabase), classical databases like PostgreSQL as well as vectors stores like Pinecone, depending on the use case.
• Deploy quickly – e.g. via Vercel (Web & AI SDK) or Docker on Elestio for productive services and Ai-Workloads (e.g. agentive systems)

Qualifikation

Must-haves

• n8n / RPA-Praxis: ≥ 1 year. Practical experience in building and operating n8n-workflows. You have built complex flows, handled error cases and integrated systems – perfection is not a must, learnability is.
• Programmierkenntnisse: Solid knowledge in JavaScript or Python for productive applications. You can bind APIs, use webhooks and write pragmatic code that works.
• System- & Cloud-Know-how: Understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL), containers (Docker), CI/CD as well as the operation of modern applications in cloud or hosting environments.
• LLM-API-Erfahrung (OpenAI, Anthropic etc.) including prompt-engineering
• Erfahrung mit Coding-Agenten (Cursor, Antigravity, Claude Code)

Nice-to-haves

• LLM-Frameworks (LangChain, Langfuse, Vector-DBs)

Methodische & kommunikative Skills

• Architektur & Strategie: Scalable systems design, roadmaps define
• Projektabstimmung: Timelines, communication with subject matter experts on the customer side (DE/EN)
• Qualität & Ownership: Testing, monitoring, documentation, continuous improvement and working according to the pull-principle
