Senior Vision Software Developer - 3D Metrology & Algorithms

We are looking for a Senior Vision Software Engineer to join our team! In this role you will contribute to the development of our world-class 3D vision solutions. Your focus will be on the development and implementation of advanced 3D metrology and algorithmic solutions. You will work on cutting edge 3D sensor technologies that deliver the best results in even the most challenging 3D inline inspection applications. What will you do as a Senior Vision Software Engineer? As a Senior Vision Software Engineer, you will be responsible for: * Designing, implementing, and testing new algorithms for 3D metrology, including but not limited to: * Calibration * Registration * Surface reconstruction * Feature extraction * Object detection * Classification * Optimizing algorithms for performance and efficiency. * Collaborating with other engineers to integrate algorithms into the LMI platform. * Troubleshooting and debugging software issues. * Contributing to the design of new products and features. * Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback. * Staying up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in 3D vision. * Working in an Agile development environment. What do you need to be successful? * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. * 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on 3D vision or related fields. * Strong knowledge of 3D vision algorithms and techniques. * Experience with 3D metrology and point cloud processing. * Proficiency in C++ and/or C#. * Experience with software development for industrial applications is a plus. * Experience with deep learning and/or machine learning is a plus. * Experience with CUDA or other parallel computing technologies is a plus. * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
