Tasks

• Development and further development of sales reports, revenue and margin analyses, as well as key figures relevant to the sales team (e.g. order intake, pipeline, hit rate, contribution margins) for management and sales teams
• Participation in revenue and sales planning, forecasting, and annual sales planning
• Analysis of plan vs. actual deviations on customer-, product- and region-level, as well as derivation of concrete action recommendations for the sales team
• Presentation of decision-relevant evaluations and presentations for sales steering and management
• Closely working with sales, accounting, and sales operations, ensuring data quality and plausibility of sales figures
• Analysis of customer- and product profitability, as well as evaluation of pricing and condition issues
• Optimization and further development of existing sales controlling processes and reporting structures
• Participation in projects and initiatives at the interface between finance and sales

Qualification

• Degree in economics, business administration or a comparable degree with a focus on finance or controlling
• Multiple years of experience in sales controlling, ideally in a similar position
• Good understanding of business economic relationships and planning and reporting processes
• Safe handling of Excel, as well as ideal experience with ERP systems and BI tools
• High numerical affinity, analytical strength, and problem-solving competence
• Structured work style, communication skills, and hands-on mentality
• Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
