Senior Process Engineer (m/f/d)

Vulcan Energie Ressourcen GmbH is an innovative, fast-growing company in the field of sustainable lithium extraction and renewable energies.
For our dynamic and creative Process Engineering Team at the Karlsruhe site, we are looking for you full-time (40 h) as a Senior Process Engineer (m/f/d).
What awaits you with us
- You will take a leading role in defining, implementing, and monitoring process engineering aspects in projects, ensuring that company and industry standards are consistently met.
- You will work closely with project teams and project partners to ensure smooth project implementation and integration.
- You will actively advocate for safety and quality during the planning and implementation phases, ensuring the highest standards are met.
- You will create, review, and maintain project documentation, write meaningful reports for audits and knowledge transfer, and regularly inform the Lead Process Engineer and project management about progress, challenges, and milestones achieved.
- You will support the Management of Change (MOC) process by evaluating process changes, analyzing their impacts, and ensuring that changes are implemented in accordance with company policies and technical standards.
- You will proactively identify, assess, and manage technical risks throughout the entire project implementation.
- In addition, you will participate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHA/HAZOP), Design Reviews, and risk mitigation measures to ensure safe and reliable project outcomes.
What you should bring
- You have successfully completed a Bachelor's, Master's, or Diploma degree in Process Engineering, Plant Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering at a recognized international university.
- You have extensive experience in basic and detail engineering of industrial process plants.
- You possess a broad understanding of engineering tools and software solutions and have in-depth knowledge of MS Office and relevant engineering software.
- You communicate confidently and persuasively and work competently with internal and external stakeholders.
- You have very good English skills, both written and spoken. German language skills are an advantage due to the location of employment.
- You show an interest in continuously expanding your technical and operational expertise and have the flexibility to pursue future development opportunities in commissioning, plant start-up, operation, or production.
- You are interested in the field of renewable energies and want to actively contribute to developing innovative solutions for the future.
