Senior Vendor Manager Telecommunications (m/f/d)

As Senior Vendor Manager Telecommunications (m/f/d), you will take on a key role in OXG's fiber optic expansion. You will ensure that our construction and expansion partners work reliably, with high quality, and economically – while simultaneously introducing modern tools and AI approaches into our vendor management.

• You will work closely with our construction partners to ensure the quality of their services and products within the agreed time and budget goals. 
• Together with our expansion partners, you will regularly and closely review quality and delivery performance: You will monitor the performance of various partners and suppliers and drive the development and implementation of measures to continuously improve processes and productivity.
• You will systematically investigate quality deviations with partners, identify causes, and ensure that action plans are developed and implemented on time.
• You will identify optimization potential along the entire process chain – from planning, through construction (NE3) to on-site implementation (NE4) and documentation – and implement improvements together with our internal and external stakeholders.
• You will support the development and establishment of AI-supported monitoring and reporting approaches for vendor management (e.g., for partner performance, early risk detection, forecasting, quality management) and further develop them with us.
• You will play an important role in risk management: This includes, in particular, the professional handling of construction companies facing insolvency and their subcontractors, including evaluation, restructuring, and transition scenarios.
• You will be part of a dynamic team where you systematically share experiences and identify best practices and implement them organization-wide. 

• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in vendor support or vendor management, ideally in the telecommunications or fiber optic sector. 
• You have a proven and robust vendor network in NE3 and NE4 (planning and construction companies, subcontractors) and know how to strategically develop this network.
• You have practical experience in dealing with construction companies facing insolvency and their subcontractors – from risk analysis, contract and performance adjustments, to exit and replacement scenarios.
• You possess strong negotiation skills and excellent communication abilities – both with internal stakeholders (e.g., Deployment, Project Management, Purchasing, Legal) and external partners.
• You bring strong analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills and work in a structured and decision-oriented manner.
• You have experience and very good knowledge in the area of FttH expansion (passive and active network components).
• You are a responsible team player with a start-up mindset: proactive, service-oriented, independent, and curious about new things in a rapidly growing market.
• You possess outstanding communication skills in German (C2) and good communication skills in English (B1).
• You have a Class B driver's license.
