Senior UX/UI Designer / Product Designer (m/w/d) E-Commerce in Hannover (Hybrid)

We are looking for an analytical and creative UX/UI Designer (m/w/d), who shapes and develops the user experience of our e-commerce platform. In this role, you connect data, user behavior, and design to translate complex shop requirements into intuitive, high-performance user experiences.

You think about user journeys holistically, identify friction points in the purchase process, and optimize central conversion drivers like navigation, product pages, and checkout. As a sole responsible UX/UI Designer, you have full scope for design and shape the discipline at our company significantly. Aufgaben

User Experience Strategie und Konzeption

• You translate complex business and shop requirements into clear, intuitive user flows and interaction concepts.
• You analyze together with e-commerce and analytics the user behavior, identify pain points, and optimize central conversion drivers like navigation, product pages, filters, search, and checkout (Conversion Rate Optimization / CRO).
• You develop logical navigation structures, filter logics, and user journeys that simplify the purchase process (Information Architecture).
• You conduct usability tests and A/B tests, analyze shop data, and develop designs iteratively further.
• You visualize ideas over sketches, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes and align these with relevant stakeholders.

Design-Umsetzung

• You translate UX concepts into high-quality, interactive prototypes and final UI designs in Figma.
• You work with our design system and develop this further to ensure a consistent, appealing, and barrier-free user experience (Visual Design, Accessibility).
• You hand over structured design specifications to our shop service provider and accompany the implementation actively until its implementation – in close cooperation with the agency, with real influence on the result.

Qualifikation

• Multiple years of experience as a UX/UI Designer, Product Designer, or in a comparable role – ideally in e-commerce.
• A strong portfolio that shows your design process from problem definition to user flows and final Figma implementation is an advantage.
• Very good knowledge of Figma (Components, Auto Layout, Variants, Prototyping).
• A solid understanding of Interaction Design, Information Architecture, and Usability.
• You lead insights from data and make design decisions based on this.
• Good German and English skills
• Experience in making the impact of your UX measures measurable (e.g., through conversion optimization) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, experience with data-based interfaces/dashboards or basic knowledge of HTML/CSS are also advantageous.
