We are looking for a (Senior-) Underwriter (m/w/d) for our client, a leading global industry insurer with strong presence in the German market.

Tasks

Your Tasks

• Underwriting of national and international risks in the area of Trade Credit with focus on Multinational & Strategic Accounts
• Growth and active management of a Trade-Credit-Portfolio with emphasis on DACH Region
• Tight cooperation with the sales team as well as support for sales partners
• Development and implementation of renewal strategies including independent negotiation skills
• Review and further development of contract conditions (Wordings)
• Preparation of regular reports on portfolio development
• Coordination of international programs in accordance with internal stakeholders

Qualification

Your Profile

• Degree in Law or Economics or equivalent qualification
• Multiple years of experience in the banking and/or insurance sector, ideally in the area of credit insurance, working capital or receivables finance
• Experience in developing conditions, concepts, and Wordings
• Negotiation skills when dealing with corporate customers and financial institutions
• Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking, additional foreign languages are an asset
• Decision-making ability, team spirit, and high level of self-initiative
• Readiness to provide sales support as well as travel within the DACH region
• Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
