About the role:

As a Senior MEP Engineer with a focus on Electrical Engineering, you will be part of our interdisciplinary, project-specific planning team at GROPYUS. You will work at the interface between project planning and the construction system, actively contributing your electrical engineering expertise to our residential building projects. 

You will oversee the planning of our multi-story residential buildings across several service phases – as a coordinator, consultant, and technical point of contact for electrical engineering. 

In close collaboration with the architects on the team, you will advise on technical solutions in the early service phases, coordinate electrical engineering planning topics within the project, and ensure the quality of the planning. Simultaneously, you will communicate technical contexts in an understandable manner – both within the interdisciplinary planning team and in coordination with clients and external project stakeholders. 

The role combines technical planning, coordination, and communication, thus offering a diverse and varied range of tasks.  

Your tasks:

• Coordination and project management of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) services in the area of Electrical Engineering (within the framework of a fully developed construction system)
• 3D planning of electrical systems in Revit
• Planning of electrical trades KG 440 and KG 450 according to DIN 276 in service phases LP1 to LP7 according to HOAI
• Independent quality control and plausibility checks of technical subcontractors
• Ensuring project goals with the required quality
• Communication and presentation of planning results within the team as well as in external project meetings and explanatory reports
• Error analysis and calculation of medium-voltage networks and cables
• Dimensioning of low-voltage cables using recognized software systems
• Participation in the creation of tender documents and preparation of bills of quantities
• Support in managing the construction process and coordination with technical site personnel
• Client/user consultation regarding technical systems 

About you:

• Successfully completed degree (Dipl. Ing. / Master Craftsman / Technician / Bachelor or Master) in Electrical Engineering or Communications Engineering
• Several years of professional experience in electrical planning (min. 5 years)
• Very good knowledge of German standards and regulations, as well as experience in multidisciplinary planning
• Very good experience with Revit and Caneco
• Structured, diligent, and reliable way of working with a high awareness of quality
• Team player with a passion for collaboration in interdisciplinary planning teams
• Fluent German (spoken and written) and good English skills
• Willingness for occasional travel to project sites
