To grow together with our Consulting team, we are looking for you as a Senior Test Management Consultant. If you want to structure diverse customer projects in test management, support teams in their professional development, and sustainably standardize quality together with our clients, then you are exactly right with us. You will work at the interface of consulting, technology, and innovation, supported by an experienced team and with plenty of room for co-creation.

Responsibilities

• You will design and be responsible for the entire test management process in our client projects and contribute your expertise to our collective success.
• Based on goals, requirements, and risks, you will develop a tailor-made test approach and advise and support our clients in its implementation.
• In close exchange, you will plan test levels, deadlines, and resources and ensure the reliable provision of test environments and data.
• You will support stakeholders in the risk-based prioritization of test scope and depth.
• You will connect the business department, development, operations, and test team and foster appreciative collaboration.
• You will document test progress, defects, residual risks, and release decisions in a traceable manner.
• You will professionally assess the sensible use of test automation and specialized tests and specifically integrate suitable expertise.
• You will work on projects for HanseMerkur and other clients. We plan on-site appointments with you well in advance and transparently.
• You will actively contribute your project experience at red6 to further develop standards and best practices together as a team.

Qualifications

• You bring practical experience in test management and quality assurance and enjoy using it together as a team.
• You shape test activities with dedication and independence – from planning to evaluation.
• You are familiar with risk-based testing, test strategy, metrics, and defect analysis.
• You work routinely with requirements, acceptance criteria, test cases, and test documentation.
• You understand agile, iterative, and classical development models and flexibly integrate yourself into the respective project context.
• You ideally have certifications such as ISTQB, CTFL, CTAL Test Manager, knowledge of ISO 29119, or a good understanding of quality standards.
• You have interest or initial experience with generative AI in test management, quality assurance, or project work.
• You critically evaluate AI results and recognize where professional decision-making and approval remain necessary.
• Quality aspects such as performance, security, accessibility, resilience, and usability are important to you, and you can professionally classify them.
• You enjoy exchanging ideas with colleagues, advising them, and sharing your knowledge appreciatively.
