Senior Test Engineer (m/w/x)

Tasks:

• Participation in an interdisciplinary team of hardware, software, and system engineers for the development and validation of intelligent battery sensors and battery management systems (BMS) for automotive applications - Contribution to the development of safety-critical battery management solutions with a focus on functionality, quality, and security - Development of test cases for software and system integration as well as qualification according to the standards ASPICE and ISO 26262/21434 - Planning, execution, and evaluation of test runs for regression and release tests in an agile development environment - Continuous provision of test results and feedback for system and software responsible personnel - Analysis of CAN traces to narrow down error causes in failed test cases and customer problems - Participation in the further development of the XiL-test infrastructure, for example through stronger automation of test execution and reporting

Qualifications:

• SUCCESSFUL completion of a university degree in an engineering field (software technology, electronics, mechanical engineering), mathematics or applied physics - Practical knowledge of various communication buses (CAN, LIN, SPI, ISO SPI) as well as protocols and standards (e.g. J1939, J1979, UDS) - Experience in testing embedded software and systems in the automotive sector, including knowledge of XiL-test methods (e.g. MiL, SiL, HiL) is advantageous - Knowledge of the standards ASPICE, ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 is desirable - Enjoyment of working in a team as well as excellent communication skills in English
