Senior Test Engineer (m/w/d)

Aufgaben

As Senior Test Engineer, you are responsible for testing our missile and launch systems – from component to system. You plan test campaigns, build test stands and bring our systems under realistic conditions to their limits, so they meet the highest demands on performance, robustness and reliability in operation.

• You develop test plans and procedures at component-, subsystem- and system-level
• You design, build and commission test stands and measurement systems
• You plan, conduct and evaluate development, qualification and acceptance tests
• You coordinate tests with external test facilities and flight test ranges
• You ensure a complete, traceable test documentation and seamless tracking
• You support flight test campaigns and perform structured error and cause analyses

Qualifikation

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field
• A strong hands-on mentality and a structured, safety-conscious work approach
• High travel readiness, including for multi-week deployments at test ranges
• Experience with rocket-, missile- or aerospace systems is an advantage
• Knowledge of flight test ranges and their requirements is an advantage
• Experience in handling pyrotechnic systems and rocket motors as well as the ability to handle explosive materials are advantages
• Knowledge in measurement technology, data acquisition and evaluation is an advantage
• Knowledge of military test and qualification standards (e.g. MIL-STD, AECTP, STANAG) is an advantage
• Very good German language skills (at least C1) and good English language skills
• Nationality of an EU or NATO member state (excluding USA) and willingness to undergo a security check according to SÜG
