Senior Test Automation Engineer

Description As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will join our technically savvy team to develop and deliver automated test systems to aid in the delivery of Resideo's leading edge video, AI and imaging products. This is a unique chance to drive Teknique and Resideo to accomplish their mission to "Protect What Matters Most" while bringing innovation to the way we live. JOB DUTIES: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and quality assurance analysts; Design, develop, test, and maintain automated test systems using various programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#; Work closely with development teams to ensure that automated tests are integrated into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline; Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies for new product features and releases; Collaborate with quality assurance analysts to identify and prioritize test automation opportunities; Develop and maintain documentation of automated test systems, including test plans, test cases, and test results; Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on coding standards and best practices; Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of test automation; Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members; Participate in regular meetings with stakeholders to discuss project progress, identify issues, and propose solutions. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation; Strong understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies; Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or TestComplete; Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript; Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration tools like Jenkins or Travis CI; Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail; Strong communication and collaboration skills; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
