Senior Test Automation Engineer - Python & Databricks

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to support model implementation teams in building a robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation framework. You will collaborate with three QA engineers across two squads who are developing a new CDD (Customer Due Diligence) Risk Detection Solution, playing a key role in ensuring quality and accuracy within a critical financial crime prevention environment.

The department focuses on identifying customer behaviours and profiles that may indicate money laundering or terrorist financing. Through advanced detection platforms, the team continuously assesses customer risk and escalates suspicious activity to support timely and effective financial crime prevention.

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will:

• Design and build a full test automation framework from the ground up using Python and Databricks.

• Develop a data-driven testing strategy tailored to complex business rule models.

• Create reusable, modular testing components to ensure long-term maintainability and scalability.

• Mentor and guide two QA engineers, promoting consistency, quality, and professional growth across squads.

• Lead the setup of the end-to-end automated testing framework.

• Collaborate closely with model implementation teams to ensure thorough scenario validation.

• Validate functional business rules (non-data transformation based).

• Ensure test design aligns with best practices in reusability, maintainability, and scalability.
