Senior Technical Product Manager

Imagine developing cloud applications and data pipelines entirely on your local machine within a lightweight cloud sandbox, running in Docker! We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to join our Product team. As a Senior Technical Product Manager at LocalStack, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our product. You will be responsible for defining the product strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market plan for specific areas of our platform. You will work closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and iterate on existing features based on customer feedback and market analysis. You will be a strong advocate for our users and deeply understand their needs. You’ll be working directly with the founders and will have a chance to shape the company’s product vision. What you'll do: * Own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for specific areas of the LocalStack platform. * Conduct market research, customer analysis, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product decisions. * Define product requirements, write user stories, and prioritize the product backlog. * Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and iterations. * Monitor product performance, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement. * Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies. * Be the voice of the customer and advocate for their needs. * Work directly with founders and other members of the leadership team to ensure the company's product vision is aligned with its overall goals. What you bring to the team: * 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally in a technical field. * Strong understanding of cloud computing, DevOps, and related technologies. * Experience with product strategy, roadmap planning, and execution. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience with agile development methodologies. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
