Senior Technical PM for Mining Fleet & Sensor Deployments

A leading technology firm in Johannesburg is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to oversee complex technology deployments in the mining sector. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience managing projects involving heavy mobile equipment, alongside a strong technical orientation. Responsibilities include leading project execution, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring project milestones are met on time. This role demands excellent communication skills and the ability to understand and interpret technical data from various sources. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and maintaining project plans, including resource allocation and timelines; • Coordinating and managing cross-functional teams; • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures; • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and prioritize project requirements; • Providing technical guidance and support to team members; • Managing budgets and resources effectively; • Identifying and mitigating risks; • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the mining industry, including the use of sensors and other technologies in this sector.
