Senior Technical Architect, Finance IT Systems

Job Summary Tencent Finance is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Architect (Finance IT Systems) to define, govern, and evolve the architecture of enterprise finance platforms. This role is responsible for ensuring that finance IT systems are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements . The Senior Technical Architect will work closely with Finance stakeholders to design end-to-end technical solutions covering core finance platforms, integrations, data, and reporting. Responsibilities * Develop and maintain the architectural vision, strategy, and roadmap for finance IT systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology trends. * Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and compliant finance IT solutions. * Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand requirements, define technical specifications, and ensure successful project delivery. * Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and platforms to improve the efficiency, security, and performance of finance IT systems. * Ensure that finance IT systems comply with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices. * Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, including code reviews, design reviews, and troubleshooting. * Develop and maintain architecture documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and standards. * Manage and mitigate technical risks associated with finance IT systems. * Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and industry best practices in finance IT. * Oversee the end-to-end architecture of finance systems, including payment processing, accounting, and financial reporting. * Collaborate with security teams to implement robust security measures and ensure data privacy. * Manage the governance and evolution of finance system architecture. * Collaborate with various engineering teams to align and optimize the end-to-end architecture. * Ensure that systems adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements, including data governance and access control. * Review and approve key design decisions for finance systems. * Perform architecture reviews to ensure all systems adhere to the architecture roadmap and best practices. * Provide technical expertise and mentorship to engineering teams to promote standardization and best practices. * Stay abreast of industry trends in finance systems and propose innovative solutions. * Coordinate and oversee architecture for the implementation of new systems and features. * Participate in strategic planning and provide guidance on system design and development. * Conduct system performance analysis and identify areas for improvement. * Define architectural standards and ensure adherence across the finance IT landscape. * Lead the development of architecture governance processes and ensure compliance. * Provide technical expertise to project teams throughout the project lifecycle. * Ensure alignment of systems with overall business strategy and financial objectives. * Promote knowledge sharing and provide technical training to team members. * Manage and communicate architecture-related risks and issues. Requirements * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, with a focus on finance systems. * Strong understanding of finance systems, including payment processing, accounting, and financial reporting. * Experience with various finance IT platforms, such as ERP, general ledger, and financial planning systems. * Deep understanding of architectural principles, design patterns, and best practices. * Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). * Experience with security and compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, SOX). * Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience with Agile development methodologies. * Experience with microservices architecture. * Experience with data modeling and database design. * Experience with API design and development. * Experience with DevOps practices. * Knowledge of regulatory requirements for financial institutions. * Familiarity with financial data and reporting standards. * Experience with business process modeling and workflow design. * Experience with data governance and data management. * Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation. * Experience with risk management and mitigation. * Experience in a global finance environment. * Experience in the financial services sector. * Experience with data integration tools and technologies. * Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF). * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. * Strong presentation and documentation skills. * Certification in IT architecture (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) is a plus.
