(Senior) Team Head Accounting (m/f/d)

In this key role, you will actively shape the financial and strategic development of the company and take responsibility for central transformation and accounting projects. As a sparring partner for management, auditors, and capital market participants, you will manage complex financial and reporting processes, further develop modern structures, and lead cross-location teams to success.

• You will be responsible for the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS, HGB, and other relevant accounting regulations, ensuring timely reporting.
• You will lead strategic transformation and optimization projects, for example in the context of carve-outs, process restructuring, or the introduction of new business models and accounting logics.
• You will continuously develop accounting, reporting, and controlling processes and sustainably drive quality, transparency, and efficiency in the finance department.
• You will act as a central interface to auditors, supervisory authorities, investors, and internal departments, and manage external audits as well as regulatory requirements.
• You will lead cross-location teams both technically and disciplinarily, promote the development of your employees, and create a motivating, performance-oriented work environment.

• You have successfully completed a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable degree program, as well as several years of professional experience in group accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting within a complex corporate environment.
• You possess in-depth knowledge of IFRS and HGB, ideally also of regulatory requirements and capital market-related reporting obligations, and preferably have sound SAP knowledge.
• You have experience in leading transformation, change, or process optimization projects and know how to successfully implement sustainable solutions.
• You convince with strong analytical and conceptual skills and maintain an overview even in complex cross-departmental issues.
• You combine strong leadership competencies with a hands-on mentality and succeed in inspiring, developing teams, and achieving common goals successfully; you communicate fluently in German and English.
