About the Role
This is a mixed role between BAS and Tax, giving you exposure across both areas while allowing you to broaden your skills.
- Tax: Lead tax engagements including structuring, global mobility, foreign trusts, and providing expert tax advice. Prepare tax opinions and assist with complex compliance matters
- BAS: Preparing financial statements, tax returns, all things compliance, budgets, forecasts, and management reporting
- Direct client contact through phone, email, and in person
- Work autonomously while liaising with partners and clients
- At least 2 years of experience within the Big Four, Mid Tier, or large International CA firm in NZ specialising in Tax
- Looking to broaden your Tax experience into BAS
- Proven experience with Xero and TaxLab
- Approachable and adaptable, with the confidence to take initiative when required
- Convenient West Auckland location
- Flexible working arrangements including hybrid working

- Hands-on exposure to complex tax matters with HNWI and SME clients
