Senior Tax Consultant / Tax Manager

About Our Client
Our client is a large, prestigious professional services firm with a structured and well-resourced Tax team. The newly established Property Tax division is part of this broader group, giving you the chance to help build something new while backed by proven systems, support, and expertise.

You'll work across complex transactions and advisory engagements in the real estate space, within a collaborative culture that values knowledge sharing and professional growth.

About the Role

• Provide specialist advice on property structuring, transactions, and compliance
• Help shape the firm’s growing real estate tax offering with support from a national team
• Work cross-functionally with legal, private enterprise, and corporate finance teams
• Mentor and support junior tax specialists as the team grows
• Enjoy flexibility with hybrid working and access to offices across New Zealand

About You

• CA qualified (or equivalent) with 5+ years’ experience in tax advisory in a Big Four or Mid Tier CA firm—property exposure a bonus
• Strong technical knowledge of NZ tax legislation and case law
• Confident communicator with the ability to provide clear, practical advice to clients
• Enjoys working across complex, high-value client matters
• Collaborative mindset and interest in developing both people and processes
