Senior Systems Support Analyst III - Linux / Medical Imaging

Job Description Purpose The Level III – Senior System Support Specialist serves as a senior technical expert within the Healthcare IT team, providing advanced support for Radiology Information Systems (RIS), Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), Vendor Neutral Archives (VNA), and other imaging platforms. This role is responsible for resolving complex technical issues, optimizing system performance, supporting system integrations, and mentoring junior support staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Linux operating systems, medical imaging software, and IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities include: • Providing advanced technical support for RIS, PACS, VNA, and other imaging platforms. • Troubleshooting complex technical issues related to system performance, integrations, and data integrity. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance. • Mentoring junior support staff on Linux operating systems, medical imaging software, and IT infrastructure. • Staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of medical imaging and healthcare IT. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • 5+ years of experience in system support, technical support, or a related field. • Strong understanding of Linux operating systems, medical imaging software, and IT infrastructure. • Experience with RIS, PACS, VNA, and other imaging platforms. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
