Senior Systems & Network Engineer — Security & HA Focus

Ren Ci Hospital in Singapore is looking for a Systems Administrator who will be responsible for maintaining servers, managing network services, and ensuring security compliance. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in IT operations, alongside relevant certifications. This role requires expertise in systems and network management, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to implement best practices in cybersecurity. The position supports a rotating roster for staff on-call duties. Key responsibilities include: • Designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and high-availability (HA) infrastructure; • Developing and enforcing IT security policies and procedures; • Conducting regular security audits and risk assessments; • Collaborating with the IT team to resolve technical issues; • Providing technical guidance and support to end-users; • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cybersecurity. The ideal candidate should possess: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; • At least 5 years of experience in IT operations; • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent; • Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.); • Experience with network management tools such as Nagios, SolarWinds, or equivalent; • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.); • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail; • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
