SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER - TRANSMISSION CONTROLS SYSTEMS (E) - (32453)
Job description
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Systems Engineer to lead software validation activities for advanced transmission control systems. This position requires deep knowledge of embedded validation processes, test automation, and diagnostic strategies.
The selected candidate will act as the technical reference of the Bosch team, interfacing directly with customer global leads, while guiding junior engineers in the execution of test cases, analysis, and documentation. Fluency in English is mandatory to ensure effective communication in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and edit comprehensive test cases based on system and software requirements.
- Perform and/or support manual and automated test execution across different environments (vehicles, benches, and simulations).
- Review and analyze test results to confirm expected outcomes and identify anomalies.
- Conduct root cause analysis for test failures and document results in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Prepare and maintain test documentation in IBM JAZZ – ETM.
- Manage and update task tracking and reporting in Atlassian Jira.
- Generate test reports and data analysis summaries, ensuring traceability of results.
- Provide daily technical updates and ensure alignment with customer global leads.
- Support and mentor junior engineers, ensuring high-quality execution of assigned tasks.
