Our client is a dynamically growing e-commerce company in Berlin that successfully operates with thousands of products in various categories on digital marketplaces. As one of the leading retailers on Amazon in Germany, the company combines data-driven processes with a modern technological approach.

For the internal IT, an experienced personality is sought who will be the technically leading IT person responsible for the Microsoft environment, set technological standards, and automate business processes together with the departments.

Tasks

As the technically leading IT person, you will be responsible for the entire internal IT environment. Since the infrastructure is deliberately kept lean and support remains manageable, your focus will primarily be on architecture, security, automation, and the further development of IT.

• Microsoft 365: Complete administration and further development of Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams, including Conditional Access and device compliance.
• Azure: Operation and further development of the Azure environment with a focus on virtual machines, networking, backup, and cost optimization.
• Network & Security: Responsibility for the network, Sophos Firewall, and VPN, as well as ensuring stable and secure operation.
• Automation: Conception and implementation of business process automations with Power Automate and PowerShell in close cooperation with the departments.
• Technology & Standards: Evaluation and selection of suitable technologies, definition of technical standards, and structured documentation of the IT environment.
• IT Projects: Independent management of IT projects as well as coordination and technical management of external service providers when needed.
• 3rd Level Support: Technical support for the junior colleague who handles 1st and 2nd level support, as well as handling complex technical issues in 3rd level.
• Knowledge Building: Technical development of the junior colleague as well as imparting knowledge and best practices within the company.
• AI & Digitalization: Further development of the structural use of AI solutions and automation technologies to optimize internal processes.
• Process Optimization: Analysis of existing business processes, identification of digitalization potentials, and development of sustainable technical solutions.

Qualification

• Approximately 5 years of experience in system administration or as a Systems Engineer.
• Very good knowledge of Entra ID, Intune, and Microsoft 365 administration, including the ability to pass on this knowledge.
• Several years of practical experience with Microsoft Azure, especially with virtual machines, networks, and backups.
• Experience with networks and firewalls, ideally with Sophos.
• Confident use of PowerShell in daily work.
• Experience with Power Automate or a clear willingness to develop in this area.
• Strong understanding of processes and the ambition to first understand processes and then automate them meaningfully.
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working with a high sense of responsibility.
• Enjoy passing on knowledge and technically supporting colleagues.
• Very good German language skills as well as good technical English.
