What you’ll do: As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining complex systems and solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technology-led defence, aerospace and security solutions, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Key responsibilities: • Design, develop, test, and maintain complex systems and solutions using a range of technologies and tools. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technology-led defence, aerospace and security solutions. • Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies. • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the design, development, testing, and maintenance of complex systems and solutions. • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, test plans, and technical reports. • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues as required. What we’re looking for: • A degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering). • At least 5 years of experience working as a systems engineer or equivalent role. • Strong understanding of system design principles, including architecture, integration, and testing. • Experience with a range of technologies and tools, including programming languages, operating systems, and software development methodologies. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Ability to work flexibly, including occasional overtime or working on weekends or bank holidays as required.
