Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 dependent on skills and experience What you’ll be doing: Understanding our customers’ complex needs and collaborating to develop, validate and manage requirements at multiple levels Developing complex system architectures and sub-systems using a Model Based Systems Engineering approach Integration, verification and validation of complex systems Identifying and managing technical risks, issues and opportunities Developing and implementing innovative solutions to meet customer requirements Working with other engineering disciplines to ensure complete system solutions Contributing to the engineering lifecycle and continuous improvement Mentoring less experienced engineers What you’ll bring: Essential Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant STEM subject, or equivalent experience. Experience with requirements management, system design and integration. Experience of system modelling and simulation. Experience of systems engineering lifecycle. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams. Experience of managing technical risks. Experience of problem solving. Experience of providing technical leadership to a team of engineers. Desirable Skills & Experience: Experience of using SysML or UML. Experience of working in an Agile environment. Experience of working in a secure environment. Experience of working with safety critical systems.
