Our client is a highly specialized, established law firm with an international orientation. Clients range from innovative medium-sized enterprises to global corporations. For the smooth operation of all business-critical processes, a high-performance, secure, and professionally managed IT infrastructure is essential.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Senior System Administrator who will take over the leadership and overall responsibility for the IT infrastructure and develop it strategically together with internal and external stakeholders.

The Environment

A modern IP management software on a Windows-based platform, supplemented by VPN access and virtualized environments, will be used. The IT department is closely integrated into the core processes of the law firm and is understood as a central success factor.

Tasks

• Leadership and overall responsibility for the IT infrastructure (servers, networks, Exchange, firewalls, backup solutions)
• Strategic development of the Windows-based system landscape
• Responsibility for safety, availability, and backup concepts
• Steering external IT service providers and collaboration with internal IT resources
• Zentral IT contact person for lawyers, assistants, and law firm partners
• Maintenance of electronic interfaces to external entities and service providers (e.g. authorities, specialized systems)
• Ensuring a stable, secure, and documented IT operation

Qualification

• Multiple years of professional experience as a System Administrator
• Very good knowledge in Windows Server and Microsoft infrastructure
• Experience with networks, firewalls, backup concepts, and virtualization
• Structured, independent work style with high responsibility
• Communication skills, assertiveness, and professional appearance
• Discretion and reliability in handling sensitive data
