In the areas of photo, film, and CGI, we are market leaders and create cross-media content that is tailored to our customers' target groups.

Our headquarters is our 11,000 sqm large photography studio in Bremen, where we currently employ around 200 staff members.

We are looking for a Senior System Engineer (m/w/d) at our location in Bremen.

Aufgaben

As a Senior System Engineer (m/w/d), you will be responsible for the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and will make a significant contribution to its further development and optimization. Our main tasks include:

• System administration (Linux, Windows) and virtualization (Proxmox, VMware)
• Network and security solutions with a focus on Fortinet and SentinelOne
• Setup and operation of cloud solutions (e.g. O365 / Entra ID)
• Monitoring (e.g. Greenbone, Monitos) and automation (OpenTofu, scripting)
• Storage cluster (Dell Isilon / Huawei Dorado) and backup strategies (Veeam)
• Implementation and operation of containers (Docker Swarm or possibly Kubernetes) as well as databases (MariaDB / MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Participation in infrastructure projects such as the introduction of new technologies, migrations, and optimizations

Qualifikation

• Multiple years of experience in system engineering
• Very good knowledge of Windows servers (MCSA level) or fundamental knowledge in Linux administration, as well as IT security tools or Fortinet network technology
• Knowledge of cloud web services, backup tools, scripting, IT emergency manuals, monitoring (Greenbone, Monitos), container orchestration (Kubernetes or Docker Swarm) and databases (MariaDB/MySQL, PostgreSQL) is a plus
• Soft skills: independent working, teamwork, problem-solving ability, customer orientation, service mentality, flexibility, and genuine technical enthusiasm
• Very good German and English language skills
• You bring analytical foresight with you and have a well-developed sense of quality
