(Senior) System Engineer (m/w/d) Network & Security Solutions

To build our team, we are looking for a full-time Senior System Engineer (m/w/d) Network & Security Solutions at the earliest possible time.

Tasks

• Implementation and administration of IT security solutions with a focus on the Sophos product portfolio
• Short-term as well as long-term project work in the field of IT security and network, such as migrations of firewall systems
• Technical customer consulting and support
• Care for customer systems in the Sophos MSP program
• Concept, operation, testing, and further development of measures to ensure IT security at the customer's site
• Tight cooperation and coordination with various interfaces as well as internal and external contact persons
• Ongoing training and certification in the field of IT security

Qualification

• Analytical or technical educational background, e.g. university degree in (business) informatics, IT security management, or vocational training with initial professional experience in IT and IT security
• Professional experience in the fields of information technology and/or IT security
• A must-have is experience with Sophos' product portfolio; having the required manufacturer certifications is an advantage
• Experience in administration, use, and implementation of IT security solutions and network infrastructure
• Outstanding analytical skills paired with high problem-solving competence
• High team spirit, good communication skills with changing contact persons, and willingness to further development
• Preferrable: Good English language skills in writing and speaking for exchange with foreign colleagues
