With your expertise...

• we conceptualize, implement, realize, and operate complex system and infrastructure environments

• you work hands-on in our datacenter, from server cabling to network component installation

• you are responsible for network and server systems including virtualization (e.g., VMware / vSphere / Kubernetes) as well as SAN/NAS components

• you actively contribute your knowledge to architecture and technology decisions

• you manage the network infrastructure in the itesys DataCenters (Fortinet / Arista)

• you actively contribute your knowledge to architecture and technology decisions

• our environment remains stable and secure

You achieve this through...

• a completed vocational training or degree in IT

• several years of experience as a Datacenter Engineer, Network Engineer, or in a comparable role – ideally 7+ years

• sound experience in the operational management of data center infrastructures, preferably Fortinet and Arista

• comprehensive knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, KVM, Kubernetes

• experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP) and concepts such as Landing Zones and Bastion Hosts

• routine in the use of deployment and automation tools

• your strong team spirit and communication skills, as well as your independent and structured way of working

• very good German and English skills (at least B2+, ideally C1 level – required for independent communication in client projects and technical discussions), as well as a Class B driver's license

Ideally, you have relevant certifications and can show them in your CV.

Since 2012, as a Swiss service provider, we have stood for reliable SAP landscapes and in-depth operating experience. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and further development of our data centers, networks, and firewall infrastructures. You will analyze complex network structures, optimize the performance of our systems, and ensure smooth and secure data communication in the hybrid working environment at our location in Frauenfeld.
