(Senior) System Administrator (m/w/d) for In-House IT

This top employer has been at home in Cologne for over 20 years and is one of the most well-known companies in E-Commerce. For a small team, we are looking for another colleague who enjoys taking care of up to 400 internal workstations.

Tasks

• Supporting the internal IT infrastructure within a 7-member team
• Providing and maintaining Windows servers as well as identity and access management via Active Directory or Entra ID
• Operating and optimizing the email infrastructure based on Exchange Online, including email security
• Co-designing the existing and future network architecture (firewall, switch, and Wi-Fi) as well as monitoring network performance and availability
• Independent analysis and solution-oriented troubleshooting of possible 2nd- and 3rd-level problems

Qualification

• A successful completed education in the IT field (or an equivalent qualification), ideally with several years of professional experience
• In-depth knowledge of current Windows infrastructures as well as modern mail and network technologies, including AD or Entra ID, Exchange Online, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, routing, switching, NGFW, and VPN solutions
• Experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell or another language
• Excellent communication skills, an analytical and practical working style, and the willingness to work in a collaborative environment
• Very good English and good German knowledge (B2) are required
