Senior Superintendent

As a Senior Superintendent, you are the nucleus of project success—responsible for orchestrating all field and site-specific construction activities with precision, accountability, and leadership. You ensure projects are safe, clean, organized, and delivered with high morale and strong engagement in safety management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all site activities, including the Chandos' Production System, project design, budget, schedule, performance, subtrades, and profitability.
• Provide direction, mentorship, and oversight to other Superintendents and field staff, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Champion safety: steward the well-being of all personnel, conduct inspections, and immediately address risks.
• Plan and schedule work, hold milestones, and allocate manpower and materials to meet project goals.
• Remove roadblocks, manage risk, and oversee project setup, execution, and close-out.
• Ensure conformity with drawings, specifications, and quality standards, while driving workmanship excellence.
• Monitor project budgets and forecasts at the phase-code and cost-type level to identify gains and mitigate losses.
• Oversee third-party monitoring/testing in accordance with contract specifications.
• Act as the owner interface champion, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring clear communication with project managers and stakeholders.
• Identify training needs, support apprenticeship programs, and build healthy, high-performing teams.
• Uphold organization, work methods, scheduling discipline, cost control, and lean construction principles.
