Job description

A leading engineering consultancy in New Zealand is seeking experienced Senior Structural Engineers to join their teams in Auckland, Wellington, Hawkes Bay, and Palmerston North. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile commercial and residential projects while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to innovative designs.

What you’ll do:

Lead structural design across a variety of projects in commercial, residential, and infrastructure sectors.
Manage project teams, coordinating with clients, architects, and contractors.
Ensure compliance with NZ building codes and industry standards.
Mentor and support the development of junior engineers.

What we’re looking for:

Chartered or near-chartered Structural Engineers with substantial experience in New Zealand.
Strong technical knowledge across structural materials and design principles.
Proven ability to manage projects and lead teams.
Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.

Full New Zealand work rights are required.
