Senior Strategy, Insights and Planning Advisor

We are looking for a new Senior Strategy, Insights and Planning Advisor to join the Reserve Bank and support our nationally significant mahi. Bring a broad skillset and experience to this important role Work with bank leadership to help set and implement direction for the organisation Five weeks annual leave and a suite of benefits Te tūranga – The role In this senior role, you’ll work closely with the RBNZ’s Board and leadership team to: Lead organisational strategy development and ensure alignment with the Bank’s purpose, strategy, and priorities. Provide strategic insights and analysis to inform decision-making, including identifying key issues, trends, and opportunities. Coordinate the Bank’s planning processes, including the development of strategic and operational plans. Manage the Bank’s performance reporting framework, ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of performance against strategic objectives. Lead and support a team of strategy, insights and planning professionals. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Bank and externally. He pūkenga – Skills and experience The successful candidate will have: Proven experience in strategy development, planning, and performance management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and identify key insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a range of stakeholders, including senior leaders. Experience in a financial services environment is preferred. Experience in leading and managing a team. A relevant tertiary qualification.
