Senior Strategic Project Manager (m/f/d) – Munich

As a Senior Strategic Project Manager, you will take nuuEnergy's most important projects from 0 to 1 and, as an internal sparring partner for the founders, steer the company's development. Currently, this mainly means: You will get our location managers up and running. This means you will not only lead them but also build the systems with which they can perform independently. Furthermore, you will be the entrepreneurial arm of the founders: You will take over where there is no clear owner yet, make decisions on behalf of management, and work cross-functionally with all other leads. Not an administrator job, but a builder job.

Your Responsibilities

• Get the location model up and running: build a repeatable model with which hubs run independently, economically, and strong humanly.
• Develop location managers into true local entrepreneurs: coach technically strong people in leadership and organization, resolve conflicts in craft teams, and enforce standards without disempowering the teams.
• Quickly take important special projects from 0 to 1 and test & develop new business models using Venture Builder methods.
• Independently solve team and organizational problems (Goal: the majority runs without the founders).
• Support personnel decisions — including separations, if necessary.
• Make the A-player ratio in the team measurable and actively manage it.
• Prepare relevant business decisions cross-functionally with all leads and make them on behalf of management.
• Represent management in meetings, to team leads, and externally.

• German at C2 level and resident in Munich
  
• Real Startup Experience: In the build-up phase (e.g., Venture Building, Early Stage, Growth Phase) – no corporate background.
• Leadership Experience: Led people, built them up, and also made tough personnel decisions.
• Builder Mindset: You are a generalist and prefer building systems to managing them.
• KPI-focused: You steer with numbers, not gut feeling.
• Personality: Hungry, high work ethic, desire to build under uncertainty.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel to our locations.
• Industry Experience: Heat pumps, energy, crafts, construction, or decentralized service models (logistics, retail, franchise, etc.).

• One of the most influential roles in the company, directly reporting to management – with clear growth prospects for someone who delivers.
