We’re looking for a Stockperson to join a busy rearing farm in the Waikouaiti area. This hands-on role involves caring for young birds from day-old chicks through to 18 weeks. If you enjoy practical outdoor work, are comfortable with farm systems and care about animal welfare, this could be the perfect fit.

What you’ll do

• Daily monitoring of birds, sheds, water and feed systems
• Respond to shed alarms as required
• Walk sheds and check flock health and behavior
• Maintain high farm hygiene and biosecurity standards
• Assist with farm equipment and systems troubleshooting
• Support the wider team with daily routines
