Senior Stock Controller | Main Theatre

A vacancy exists for a Senior Stock controller at the Life Entabeni Hospital . The successful candidate will contribute to the effective functioning and co-ordination of stock for all the wards & Theatres and will report to the Theatre Manager . Critical Outputs Managing the procurement, control and distribution of surgical stock within the surgical stores department and the relevant wards/ theatre’s. Utilising and maintaining MRPs within the hospital and daily ordering of stock to ensure a quality service to patients. Developing and implementing effective inventory management systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels. Providing support and guidance to junior staff members in the procurement, control and distribution of surgical stock. Maintaining accurate records and reports on stock movements, stock levels and stock values. Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures related to stock management. Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of stock. Providing input into budgeting and financial planning for the surgical stores department. Co-ordinating and implementing stock take processes to ensure accurate stock counts and reporting. Providing support and guidance to junior staff members in the procurement, control and distribution of surgical stock. Maintaining accurate records and reports on stock movements, stock levels and stock values.
