What awaits you:

• Development and further development of the PLC software platform based on CODESYS V3

• Programming of modern automation applications in Structured Text (ST) for process engineering plants

• Development and optimization of intelligent control algorithms for biological processes and PID control loops

• Parameterization, commissioning, and fine-tuning of control and regulation systems on customer plants

• Analysis and resolution of complex software, automation, and control problems during ongoing plant operation

• Further development of existing software modules, including tests, final acceptance, documentation, and new functionalities

• Technical coordination with process engineering, electrical design, project management, national and international customers

Certain professional and personal prerequisites are helpful for this position. The following requirements give you an overview of which experiences and characteristics are advantageous for this role.

What you should bring:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable qualification with sound practical experience

• Several years of professional experience in PLC programming and very good knowledge of CODESYS V3

• Confident programming skills in Structured Text (ST) as well as experience with modular software development

• Good knowledge of control engineering and practical application of PID controllers

• Ideally, experience in plant construction, process automation, or water and wastewater technology

• Knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal, C/C++, process control systems, or visualization is an advantage

• Very good German language skills, good English language skills, and willingness to undertake occasional business trips
