💡 Important note in advance: This is not a marketing or PR position. We are looking for an expert in process automation & market processes in the energy industry to take our operational processes to the next level.

Your Tasks
  • Operational Responsibility: You will support the operational management of our balancing group management for electricity and gas and coordinate communication with market partners, service providers, and internal teams. You will keep an overview of ongoing clearing and market communication processes, support the monitoring of forecast quality and balancing group deviations, and assist in the creation of analyses and KPIs that support our daily decisions.

  • Data Quality & Clearing: You will monitor and coordinate clearing processes with grid operators and help to systematically identify and resolve data discrepancies and reduce balancing risks.

  • Processes & Automation: You will identify potential improvements in existing processes and work together with Data, Tech, and Operations teams on scalable solutions. You will support the further development and automation of our balancing group management processes to reduce manual effort and increase operational stability. You will work closely with our system and service partners (including Kraken) and contribute operational business requirements to the further development of our systems.

  • Projects & Further Development: You will participate in energy industry projects related to balancing, market communication, and forecasting. You will help create transparency regarding balancing group risks, forecast quality, and data quality, and support the development of KPIs, monitoring dashboards, and reports.

    • Your Profile
  • You have a completed university degree or a comparable vocational training with a focus on energy economics, business, or analytics.
  • Initial experience in the energy industry is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of market communication (e.g., GPKE, GeLi Gas, or MaBiS) is a plus, but not a must.
  • You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner.
  • You enjoy understanding and further developing complex energy industry processes.
  • You have a high affinity for data, processes, and operational workflows.
  • You communicate confidently in German and English and enjoy working with various stakeholders.
