Senior Specialist (m/f/d) Overall Bank Management

For our client, a modern and supra-regionally active specialist credit institution that has been expanding for 50 years, we are looking for a Senior Specialist (m/f/d) Overall Bank Management at the Straubing location as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualization, further development, and interpretation of complex control-relevant analyses and reports
• Derivation of well-founded recommendations for action for management
• Participation in the creation and further development of the overall risk profile and its integration into overall bank management
• Involvement in cross-departmental projects
• Further development of methods and processes in the control environment
• Critical analysis and validation of existing risk measurement methods
• Prospective leadership and development as team leader of an 8-member reporting and accounting team

Qualifications

• Successfully completed banking apprenticeship with appropriate further training or a degree in economics, financial mathematics, business informatics, or a comparable field of study
• Several years of relevant professional experience in overall bank management, risk controlling, or a comparable position in the financial services sector
• In-depth understanding of banking operational control mechanisms and regulatory requirements (e.g., MaRisk, Basel III/IV)
• Ideally, sound knowledge of banking supervisory reporting, German commercial and tax law, and the RechKredV
• Leadership experience desirable
