Senior Specialist Environmental Management

QEMETICA Soda Deutschland counts among the oldest companies in Saxony-Anhalt and looks back on a history that dates back to 1882. Since 2007, the company has been part of the Polish chemical group QEMETICA (formerly CIECH). The QEMETICA Group offers high-quality chemical products, including soda, salt, polyester and epoxy resins, as well as various other chemicals. These products are used in various industries, such as glass, food, and furniture manufacturing, as well as in the production of detergents, agriculture, and construction. At the Staßfurt location, heavy soda, light soda, and sodium hydrogencarbonate are produced.

Tasks

Support in organizing and conducting tasks within the framework of corporate environmental management. This includes:

Determination and evaluation of legal, official, normative, and social environmental requirements;

• Preparation of reports, provision of information, and preparation of statements, as well as timely submission to internal and external parties;
• Counseling and support for management and other responsible persons in fulfilling environmental requirements, including implementation and effectiveness control;
• Identification of environmental risks within the organization
• Accompaniment of environmental and internal audits

Qualification

Academic Qualification

• SUCCESSFUL completion of a degree in engineering or natural sciences at a university;

Special Knowledge

• welcome knowledge of German and European environmental law or ISO 14001;
• Skills as an environmental, accident, or emission protection officer are advantageous
