About the Role
Whatever our clients plan to do in the field of Data & AI on AWS, we design and develop it together with them, from the first Architecture Workshop to Production. For this, we are looking for you: as a Senior Solutions Architect for Data & AI, you will be responsible for end-to-end projects in your area and actively shape our growing Data & AI Business Unit.

Architecture & Delivery

• You will lead the development and implementation of scalable AWS architectures for Data Platforms and Gen AI / Agentic AI solutions
• You will ensure security, performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency for our clients (AWS Well-Architected)
• You will make architecture decisions including trade-offs – and document them in a way that teams can build upon them
• You will translate vague business pain points into measurable technical requirements and clear goals
• You will bring an external perspective and elevate our existing standards to the next level.
• You will participate in technical Pre-Sales, project scoping, and work on creating Statements of Work

• You will develop Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions on AWS Bedrock, with frameworks like Strands Agents and runtime/governance building blocks like Bedrock AgentCore
• You will develop agent architectures with tool use and MCP-based integrations, multi-step orchestration, and clearly defined agent scope boundaries
• You will incorporate Human-in-the-Loop patterns, from approval steps and escalation logic to (partially) automated review loops
• You will establish evaluation and quality assurance for LLM and Agent systems
• You will show clients how to pragmatically and responsibly deploy GenAI and Agentic AI

• You will be a Trusted Technical Advisor for our clients
• You will support Pre-Sales and technical workshops
• You will translate complex technology into clear business value
• Knowledge Sharing
• You will be a mentor to our junior colleagues
• You will contribute to internal standards, best practices, and training, and develop them further with us

Must-haves

• 5+ years in Cloud, Data, Software, or ML Engineering – including 2+ years with ownership of end-to-end architectures
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS
• In-depth experience in Data Engineering and ETL architectures
• Experience with Generative / Agentic AI projects
• Very good Python skills
• Fluent English; German at a professional level
  
  

• AWS certifications
• Experience in Pre-Sales or technical leadership
• Experience in consulting or customer-facing projects
• Experience with AWS Connect
• Solid experience with IaC (Terraform or comparable)
• Experience with LLM Customization / Fine-Tuning and Distillation
• Practical MLOps experience (Model Deployment, Monitoring, Lifecycle)
• Experience with Kafka/Streaming
