Senior Solution Architect - OSS Transformation (Telco)

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to strengthen our position in Telco transformation programs, with a specific focus on OSS and adjacent operational/digital platforms.

This strategic role sits at the intersection of solution design, pre-sales, commercial development, and competence building, with the goal of transforming the current fragmented ICT landscape into a structured, credible, and competitive offering.

You will be at the forefront to anticipate clients' strategic decisions, compete for key opportunities with operators, and contribute to building a high-level Telco transformation proposal in Italy.

What You Will Do

• Define innovative approaches for OSS modernization and transformation.
• Support strategic opportunities and tenders with telecom operators.
• Identify client pain points and translate them into value-added solutions.
• Design solution concepts, transformation roadmaps, and high-level operating models.
• Contribute to positioning Alten as a reference partner in the OSS domain.
• Collaborate with Business Managers and commercial stakeholders to increase client penetration and opportunity qualification.
• Interact with CTOs, OSS teams, operations, and transformation functions of clients.
• Support the drafting of proposals, solutions, risk assessment, and pricing logic.
• Be the internal point of reference for OSS transformation topics.

What We Are Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in Telco OSS, service assurance, fault management, service fulfillment, inventory, orchestration, or adjacent IT architectures.
• In-depth knowledge of the operating models and technological landscapes of telecom operators.
• Proven experience in at least one of these areas: OSS Simplification/modernization, Service Orchestration/workflow redesign, Legacy system Transformation/migration, Architectural rationalization, or Digitalization of processes in the Telco domain.
• Ability to define solution roadmaps, transformation approaches, and architectural options at a strategic level.
• Experience in pre-sales, tenders, solutioning, consulting, or transformation programs.
• Skills in building relationships with IT and operational stakeholders.
• Understanding of the business impacts of OSS on efficiency, agility, and service delivery.
• Fluent English.

The gross annual salary for this role ranges between 50,000 EUR and 70,000 EUR + 10K-20K bonus + benefits. Placement within the range will be determined based on technical skills, specific role experience, and the outcomes of the selection process, according to objective and predefined criteria. For profiles with exceptional characteristics relative to the indicated range, a review may be considered subject to internal approval. The position is classified under the CCNL Commercio e Terziario applied by ALTEN.
