Your role at benuta:

Senior Solution Architect eCommerce (m/w/d)

You will work closely with our Lead Developer and take responsibility for the technical architecture, integration, and further development of our MACH/Headless platform. Your focus is clearly on system architecture, API development, and technical implementation – here you set impulses and shape actively.

Your tasks:

• You design and implement modern interfaces (REST/GraphQL) and backend functionalities (Node.js).
• You develop and continuously further our MACH/Headless architecture.
• You work closely with our frontend developers in Next.js.
• You build integrations between Shop, PIM, DAM, ERP, WMS/OMS, and other systems, optimizing data flows and API performance.
• You test new tools and services and integrate them meaningfully into our tech ecosystem.
• You are a technical sparring partner for Lead Developer, CDO, and adjacent clusters (UX, PIM, ERP, BI).
• You drive the technical further development of our platform strategy forward.

Job requirements

Your profile:

• You have at least 5 years of experience as a backend or full-stack engineer.
• You are very experienced in Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript stacks (React/Next.js).
• You have practice in designing API-first architectures and understanding integrations and complex data flows between systems.
• You make technical decisions independently, fundamentally, and pragmatically.
• You work structured, have a high quality standard, and want to take responsibility in a small tech team.
• Your German skills are very good, so you can conduct professional discussions and technical talks securely.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with Vercel, Edge Functions, PIM-, DAM-, ERP-, or WMS-integrations, as well as in the eCommerce or shop system environment.
