Senior Software Developer*in Web (m/w/d) Digital-Health

As Senior Software Developer*in Web (m/w/d) you will take on a central role in the technical implementation of modern digital health solutions. You will be involved from the outset in our customer projects and accompany them comprehensively – from the first estimate and technical conception to architecture, implementation, deployment, operation, and continuous optimization. In doing so, you will work closely with colleagues from design, product management, development, and QA, ensuring that high-quality, scalable, and user-oriented applications are created.

Tasks

• Planning and implementation of web applications based on our PHP/JavaScript/TypeScript stacks
• Modeling and implementation of REST APIs as well as database structures
• Development of performant, maintainable backend and frontend components
• Implementation of UI designs based on modern frontend technologies
• Writing automated tests and ensuring high code quality
• Participation in the further development of our development standards
• Evaluation of new technologies and optimization of processes, tools & workflows

Qualification

• At least 5 years of experience as a software developer*in, software engineer or software architect*in (m/w/d) – ideally in the healthcare sector or with experience in ISO 13485/IEC 62304 desirable
• Fundamental knowledge in backend development with PHP and frameworks like Symfony (or comparable alternatives)
• Experience in modeling, design, and implementation of RESTful APIs
• Safe handling of database models as well as ORMs (e.g. Doctrine)
• Competence in frontend development with JavaScript/TypeScript and CSS, as well as practical experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries like Vue, React or Angular
• Routine in writing automated tests with PHPUnit or Vitest
• Knowledge in developing and operating applications with Docker containers and in Linux-based system environments
• Optimally, you bring additional knowledge of TypeScript based on Node.js and frameworks like NestJS
• Desirable but not necessarily required are experiences in implementing Figma designs using Tailwind CSS
• Experience with agile methods (Scrum/Kanban), excellent communication skills, team spirit, and willingness to actively exchange knowledge
• Bilingual German and English language skills
