Senior Software Developer*in Flutter (m/w/d)

As a Mobile Software Developer*in (m/w/d), you are part of our interdisciplinary implementation team and work on the development of modern mobile applications in the healthcare context. You accompany customer projects comprehensively – from technical conception and consulting to implementation and quality assurance. You actively participate in technical decisions, the further development of our mobile architectures, and the evaluation of new technologies.

You work closely with colleagues from Design, Product Management, Development, and QA, ensuring that high-quality, scalable, and user-oriented applications are created. As an experienced developer*in, you are a driving force for the use of AI-supported development tools and help the team establish modern working methods.

Tasks

• Development, maintenance, and optimization of mobile applications with Flutter and Dart – from feature implementation to sustainable improvement of existing codebases
• Active participation in technical concepts and architecture decisions, as well as the further development of our Mobile Stack, including development standards, processes, and workflows
• Evaluation and integration of new technologies – including AI-supported development tools (e.g. Copilot, Cursor, Claude) and active knowledge transfer to the team
• Conducting code reviews and ensuring sustainable code quality

Qualification

• Multiple years of professional experience (at least 3 years) in software development in the mobile field
• Very good knowledge of Dart and Flutter, as well as experience with multiple productive Flutter projects
• Understanding of modern app architectures, clean code, and clean architecture principles (SOLID, Repository-Pattern, Domain-Driven Design)
• Experience with common Flutter ecosystems, such as State Management and Dependency Injection (e.g. Riverpod), HTTP communication, and local data storage
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, reproducible builds, and binding to external services and backends (e.g. Firebase or Appwrite)
• Able to evaluate Flutter in the context of platform alternatives (Kotlin Multiplatform, Swift/SwiftUI, React Native) and provide well-founded technology recommendations
• Experience with agile methods (Scrum/Kanban), excellent communication skills, team spirit, and willingness to actively exchange knowledge
• Consulting competence and the ability to act as a technical contact in customer projects
• Analytical thinking, structured working method, and willingness for continuous further development
• Bilingual German and English language skills
