You are enthusiastic about new trends and want to start immediately as Software Developer Backend (m/w/d) to provide the right impulses to drive our online offer strategically and operationally?

Tasks

• Development and maintenance of scalable backend systems with NestJS and TypeScript.
• You give guidelines for the creation of architecture and concept designs, as well as API designs.
• You develop data models and database access for relational databases.
• You are responsible for testing, rollout, and production deployment of applications.
• Optimization of backend processes and ensuring high performance and security. Implementation and maintenance of REST APIs.

Qualification

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent education or experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, and at least one related framework (e.g., NestJS).
• Experience in developing and maintaining large backend systems.
• Good knowledge of databases (especially PostgreSQL) and ORM libraries (especially Prisma).
• Experiences with conceiving and implementing unit tests (especially with Jest) - experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
• A high quality standard for your work.
• Team player with enthusiasm for agile software development.
• Familiarity with Scrum development methods - an advantage is also experience in handling project management software like Jira.
• You have very good German language skills in writing and speaking.
• Your place of residence is located within a radius of approximately 150km around Bremen.
• You want a permanent position.
